@TheGreatNico The classic Moscow Mule made with Cock & Bull Ginger Beer - Kirkland Vodka (optional ) - and a twist of fresh Lime Served in a Copper mug. It’s only 6 am and I’m feeling thirsty!
Ice water–or diet Polar orange soda. Once a summer or less, a weak gin and tonic (I don’t do it often enough to get familiar and call it a G&T) which I have a few sips of.
Typically my ‘drink’ is beer. Especially those days around the pool in the summer with friends. Occasionally I’ll do “loaded Landsharks” - Landshark/Mexican style lager that you drink the neck out of and throw a shot of good agave tequila in with a lime wedge.
On the other hand if we do make cocktails we most often serve some sort of rum punch which involves whatever tropical fruits (fresh pineapple, bananas, mangoes etc) and a Vitamix blender with ice and dark rum, with maybe a splash of grenadine.
Though TBH margaritas factor in occasionally.
Army/Navy. Named for the game, not the armed forces, except insofar as members played in the game. 1/2 oz orgeat (almond syrup), 3/4 oz lemon juice, and 2 oz gin. Pretty good.
G&T or a moscow mule

Pineapple juice with a dash of Cheery juice Mocktail.

…& splash of dark rum…cocktail.
Water
Usually water. At a party sometimes Bay Breeze or Tequila Sunrise.
Iced tea or lemonade is as ‘cocktail’ as I go.
Dark and Stormy. Extra spicy ginger beer.
@highonpez
Aldi sells a pretty good one.
Does beer count as a cocktail?
@mehcuda67
/showme Several people standing around a grill on a hot summer day, drinking glasses of beer with little cocktail umbrellas in them.
@mehcuda67 Here’s the image you requested for “Several people standing around a grill on a hot summer day, drinking glasses of beer with little …”
@mediocrebot Pretty much spot on. I am impressed that the sign behind them is slightly out of focus.
@mediocrebot @mehcuda67 I know everytime I have a BBQ, I bring out a chalk board and generalize about the food and drinks I serve.
Water
Vodka w/ flavored seltzer
I’d have to go with a gin and tonic.

Aperol Spritz is the way to go.
